What
Q. What is Stateline Kids Club?
A. Stateline Kids Club is a four part midweek children’s ministry in which children learn to live in community with God and one another. Below is a list of the four parts and their purpose.
Bible Time: Children gather by age group and learn about what the Bible has to say about Christian relationships. The focus of this is to teach children to treat everyone as a child of God, as worthy of respect.
Family Time: The purpose of this time is to recreate the family atmosphere around dinner. In today’s busy world, it is often difficult to sit down as a family and eat dinner. During Family Time, a table parent sits at each table with a group of children and helps them by guiding conversation.
Recreation Time: The purpose of this time is to include all children in some recreational activity. The activity could be a sport, such as a relay race, or a craft, such as making a mother’s day present. It’s a time of fun and a time when everyone is included.
Worship Skills: The purpose of worship skills is to help children learn how to participate in the life and worship of a congregation.
